Pakistan Drops Crucial Pacer from Squad Prior to England Series

Pakistan has opted to release fast bowler Hasan Ali from their squad ahead of the four-game T20I series against England. Hasan Ali was initially included as an injury cover for fast bowler Haris Rauf. However, the Pakistan team management has decided to allow Hasan Ali to fulfill his commitments in county cricket for Warwickshire.

Hasan Ali's recent appearance was in the third T20I against Ireland, where he bowled three overs, conceding 42 runs without taking a wicket.

In the T20 format, the 29-year-old has claimed 60 wickets in 51 matches, boasting an average of 24.26 and an economy rate of 8.45. Pakistan's pace attack for the upcoming series against England will feature Abbas Afridi, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Amir, and Naseem Shah.

Pakistan has not yet announced its squad for the upcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the USA.
