ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Warm-Up Fixtures Announced

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 warm-up matches are set to take place from Monday, May 27 to Saturday, June 1, across venues in the USA and Trinidad and Tobago.

The warm-up fixtures, featuring 16 matches, will be hosted at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, Broward County Stadium in Florida, Queen’s Park Oval, and Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago.

Seventeen teams will participate in these matches, including South Africa, which will play an intra-squad game on May 29 in Florida.

The official ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 anthem, “Out of this World” by Sean Paul and Kes, has also been released.

Each warm-up match will be a 20-over-per-side game without international T20 status, allowing teams to field all members of their 15-player squad. Unlike previous tournaments, teams now have the option to play up to two warm-up matches, depending on their arrival schedule.

The match between the West Indies and Australia at Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad and Tobago on Thursday, May 30, will be open to fans. Tickets are available for purchase at tickets.t20worldcup.com or at the box offices at the National Cricket Centre and Queen’s Park Oval starting May 16.
